Cybersecurity Sales Executive

About this position

We are looking for an accomplished sales professional with a proven track record of success in selling innovative software to help solve complex enterprise and public sector problems. This Sales Executive will help cultivate the Ava Cyber offering in Sweden. Our sales teams work alongside world-class Pre-Sales Engineers to build successful relationships that brings new business opportunities. An ideal candidate can balance growing near term opportunities with long term strategic relationships, while applying solution-selling methodologies to close business, surpass sales targets, and maximize growth.

The job requires both hands-on work and high-level planning and prioritization.

At Ava you will make a defining contribution to the development of our new disruptive product, Ava Reveal, a next-generation data protection security solution, by:

  • Identifying key decision-makers within an organization 
  • Establishing and working with partners in your territory
  • Creating and delivering value propositions
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments within the cybersecurity landscape
  • Teaming up with engineering resources to ensure technical excellence and proficiency in all positioning, proposals, RFP responses, and POCs
  • Working closely with team members to close business and to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Forging high-level relationships within accounts to nurture and win incremental business

About you

You’re not expected to have all of the following skills, but they will be useful in performing your job.

We are looking for someone with: 

  • Experience in selling cybersecurity products or solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Successful track record in a similar role (preferably in high technology products, mid-market or enterprise organizations)
  • Ability to identify and build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Proven understanding of IT security 
  • Comfortable working in an ambitious environment
  • Native fluency in Swedish and business level English.

It is also considered a bonus if you have: 

  • Track record of exceeding expectations
  • Self-motivation with the willingness to succeed and exceed
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Start-up and entrepreneurial experience
  • Working knowledge of and CRM tools
